Project Goal:
This project is the result of a resource-sharing cooperative between three community services agencies: Genesis II for Women, the Management Assistance Project and YES/NEON. The goals were to present 3 distinct facilities to the public while sharing space and to create a relaxed environment for clients of the agencies.

Outcome:
A complete remodeling of an existing 14,000 square foot, 2-story brick office building. Our work included interior space planning and finish selection, new mechanical systems, roofing and windows. We created a warm design profile through the use of wood finishes, earth tone coloring, incandescent lighting, niches and unusual hallway configurations to break down some of the traditional symbols of “office” to encourage a relaxed environment for communication.
