Project Outcome:
By lowering the entry door to sidewalk level and moving the stairs to the interior a handicap accessible lower lobby, leading to a handicap lift was created. The lift elevates people to the upper elevator lobby, which also contains the first floor rental space side entry. The exterior changes needed for this project required the approval of the Minneapolis Heritage Preservation Commission (HPC) since the building is located in the Warehouse Historic District.
